Broadway Bares - Happy Endings June 2012
This Past June, after so many years as a spectator, I had the honor to join a cast of 200+ dancers in this years Broadway Bares. For those of you who don't know what that is, its basically a huge fundraiser for "Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids" helping fellow artists not only with AIDS, but with many other issues to pay their bills and much much more! http://www.broadwaycares.org So you can educate yourself on an amazing organization that helps thousands of those in need!! I personally have already have benefited from them since they also donate a large amount to "The Actors Fund" which provides a clinic for artists like myself that doesn't have any health insurance.
That being said, I had one of the most amazing experiences in my professional life. I not only shared the same stage with so many talented people, I was able to meet and become friends with them. But i also got to do it with another Broadway Bares virgin, one of my best friends, Shari Katz. It wouldnt of been the same with out her.
I was in the Opening number of the show. Technically I was a fairy...see half naked picture to the left (and more under show pics on the gallery tab)! The number and the entire show was directed by Lee Wilkins and the opening number was choreographed with Kristen Beth Williams and Mark Myars. What amazing people and talent! Also we had our guest artist Miriam Shor as the fairy godmother and Next to Normal's Kyle Dean Massey as the lonely prince!
Being surrounded by so much talent only lit the fire in my heart that much more to fight for my career!!! So watch out fall audition season!!! HERE I COME!!! The emotion backstage and on is incomparable and can't wait to do it again next year.

So I know that I write very randomly but have some great news. I have been cast in dancing in "Crazy For You" at the Cohoes Music Hall and I've been cast as Tess, the "dance captain" of the showgirls in the show within the show!
Im so excited to do this show and to have a part. Rehearsals have been kicking my ass and loving every minute of it!

Also right before I started rehearsing for this show I danced on the same stage as the legendary Liza Minelli for the TV Land Awards show. I also did the closing number behind Jane Lynch! A pretty exciting time and Loving every minute!!

Its been a crazy year and I'm back in NY ready to dance, work, and be happy!
I'm currently working for FIAT as a spokesmodel/narrator at the Chicago Auto show Feb 9th - 20th. And then ready to attack audition season in NYC!

After long a due, I finally went back to Rome, italy! My last few weeks in NY had been a whirlwind of classes, auditions, and small gigs. Even though I didn't leave with a gig in my pocket to come back to NY for, I know that I grew artistically in a way that I haven't done so in a long time. So I do have a great sense of accomplishment and will try to continue it while I'm in Rome!
Additionally, I am starting a dance class for actors at the professional dance studio in Rome, IALS. I had met a beautiful group of actors before I left to NY in December and they all ask if I can teach them. And I thought about it and figured it would be a great idea. So Thats starting next week and I'm very excited for it!

Its so silly but it was fun to do and fun to watch and I had a wonderful partner!
Today I also had a photo shoot or Chartis travel insurance. We shot at JFK and it was a wonderful experience! There were 4 models in total and we all got along really well! I look forward in doing more print work as I had a great time shooting! Ah, and I thought it was pretty funny that the photographer is from Rome!!
Well thats all for now, I wake up and am very thankful for every adventure of every day! I look forward to the surprises that tomorrow will bring me!

Im still in NY working very hard for something to come out. Pounding the pavement as they say, and damn I hope something come out of it soon! In the mean time I have been running into old friends, seeing them feels great and I also feel Im not alone in this world means a lot!! They are all still gorgeous and pushing forward as I am, and wondering the same things. One little quote a friend of mine said...and its what I live by I just didn't put it into the perfect wording as she did. "Fear regret not rejection!"
So that has been my motto to wake up to every morning! Thanks Shari!

So my new up date is that I'm currently in NYC and working hard to plant my roots again. Trying to make this work and trying to work!!!
I've been taking class and it feels fantastic. Thanks to Josh Bergasse and David Marquez! They both inspire me in every class and remind me with every step that this is what I want in life.
As of now Im staying until mid february unless something major pops up! We'll see!

Just a little update with my life. I am currently helping to create an international show with a singer from rome. Hopefully we can have it up and running by Feburuary. I'm coming "home" to NY in a few weeks and see whats out there for me as well!
